You Decide
How High You Go

Custom artwork doesn’t decorate the page — it is the page.

Step Into the Forest

Move your cursor across the scene. Each band of trees, the headline, and the frog sit on separate layers that shift at different speeds — a transform-based parallax that gives a 2D illustration believable depth and pulls you into the story. (It politely turns itself off on touch screens and for visitors who prefer reduced motion.)

Try the mood swatches. One illustration, four completely different feelings: CSS filters re-light the same artwork — rotating hue, lifting brightness, deepening saturation — while the sky gradient swaps behind it. A stock photo locks you into one mood forever; an illustration is a stage you can re-light whenever the brand story calls for it.

Why lead with illustration?

Illustration-led web design builds the entire experience around custom artwork instead of photography or abstract decoration. Because every line is drawn for the brand, the visuals can say things photos can’t: a frog can peek over the footer, a forest can grow as you scroll, and the whole world can shift from dawn to midnight without a reshoot. The artwork carries the storytelling, sets an emotional register that’s impossible to copy, and makes even a simple page feel like a place rather than a layout.

The craft lies in restraint and structure: clean type that doesn’t fight the art, layouts that give scenes room to breathe, and motion used sparingly — a drift here, a parallax shift there — so the illustration feels alive instead of busy. Done well, visitors don’t remember “a website with nice drawings”; they remember your forest.
